We have a fundamental right to hold businesses accountable and responsible for their actions. That right must be preserved by ensuring Floridians have the ability to access the courts that are independent and without limitations as a result of legislative interference that protects corporate interests. 

The best protection from a dangerous corporate nursing home, a reckless driver, a negligent hospital, or a corrupt employer is our ability, our right to hold them accountable in a court of law. 

The right to trial via an independent judiciary and with a citizen jury, is a constitutional right guaranteed by the 7th Amendment.

Access to the courts is also guaranteed to the citizens of our state in the Florida Constitution. 

Attempts to limit these fundamental rights of Floridians is nothing short of  government overreach that protects Goliath corporate interests, insurance companies and others who cause harm.
